Hazrat Umm Kulsum radhiallahu anha

Royal Family Part Three
The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said that children should be taught love for his family, the Ahle Bayt. This series focuses briefly on their lives.

CHILDREN
The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) had 3 sons and 4 daughters, all from his first wife Khadijah (Radhiallahu anha) except a son Ibrahim.

3. UMME KULSUM (RADHIALLAHU ANHA)
She is the third daughter of the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam). Her year of birth is possibly 6 years before Prophethood, when the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) was 34 years old, in the 9th year of his marriage to Khadijah (Radhiallahu anha). She was a year younger than her sister Ruqaiyyah and a year older than her younger sister Fathimah (Radhiallahu anhuma).
Umme Kulsum accepted Islam with her mother Khadijah (Radhiallahu anhuma) and sisters. She was married to Utaibah son of Abu Lahab, but had not started to live with him when Surah Lahab was revealed. Utaibah divorced her. After the death of her sister Ruqayyah, who was married to Uthmaan, Umme Kulsum (Radhiallahu anhum) was married to him in 3 AH.
She passed away without any children in 9 AH at the age of 22 after 5 years of marriage. The Ansaar women bathed her and the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) led the funeral prayers. It is reported that he was grieved at her death and was seen at her graveside with tears rolling out of his eyes.
