During the last Haj, the Holy Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) prevented the camel-drivers from steering the camels (upon which women were riding) very fast, by remarking: "They are glass (indicating that women are delicate)."
If a child of a woman offering prayer behind the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) started crying, he would shorten the prayer lest the mother be tormented.
In the last sermon of the farewell Haj, the Prophet (sallallahu alaih wa sallam) cautioned men by saying: "Fear Allah in regard to your women."
In one narration we are told that the pious among women will enter Paradise even before the pious men.
