A TYRANT king in the time of Dawood (alaihis salaam) was captured and hung up to bleed to death.
In the dead of night he called to all the false gods he knew and worshipped, asking for help. None came to his assistance.
He then called out to Allah Ta’ala to save him. Allah answered his prayer and sent an angel to help him.
In the morning his people found him alive, whereas they expected him dead.
This tyrant called out to Allah Ta’ala as a last resort and his supplication was answered.
Why would not our prayers be answered when we call to Him as our first resort?
Allah Ta’ala definitely answers the prayer of the one who calls unto Him.
